Our approach to finding great art is to be "in the mix". Provenance covers more ground than most collectors are able to do themselves - at festivals, private showings, studio visits, gallery talks, public installations and academic events. We select artists who we feel will appeal to a broader market than they currently reach.

2. How does Provenance, LLC determine its prices?
Provenance invests material time and resources to keep abreast of the latest art sales at leading auction houses, general market trends and current news. We have assembled a proprietary database of this information, which we share in summary form with our artist and collector partners. This market information enables the artists that we represent to evaluate their prices relative to market movements. It also ensures that the price set by Provenance represents not only a price that the artist feels reflects the true value of his work, but also a price that our collectors acknowledge is fair.

3. Does Provenance own a gallery?
Provenance has the luxury of offering reasonable prices for high quality art because it does not own a gallery. Instead, we invest in our artists. We enjoy a fluidity of product that most galleries are not able to offer. Provenance aims to bring great art to experienced and emerging collectors alike and make it as easy as possible for them to find new art. Provenance offers opportunities to attend shows, meet artists, read more information on our site and select art to be enjoyed for years to come.
